Philips Lighting - InstantTrust launch campaign
Centagon developed strategic communication deliverables allowing a platform for the cutting-edge new UV disinfection technology from Philips Lighting to be launched. The focus was innovative and captivating in line with the nature of the product.
Philips Special Lighting has been at the forefront of UV technology for many years and has helped equipment manufacturers across different sectors including residential water, municipal drinking and waste water, industrial water, swimming pools and fish ponds to design effective water purification equipment by developing innovative and reliable UV solutions.

- Develop strategic communications deliverables in line with project objectives to enable an innovative and cutting-edge technology to be launched. Objectives: Philips Lighting wants to re-enforce its #1 position in UV disinfection technology.
- Create deliverables including: proposition and messaging platform, visual concept and brand feature logo.
- Develop ideas, using the deliverables, for an innovative and captivating way of explaining the features of the new UV-based residential water disinfection technology. It will be marketed as a ‘branded feature’ to selected leading industry players, delivering a complete solution that is ready-to-integrate in Point of Use equipment.
- Inspire, connect and resonate with wide target audience from OEMs worldwide that manufacture Point of Use purification equipment (fixed appliances) and dispensers, to consumers who want to drink pure, clean and safe drinking water everyday.
Our solution...
- Centagon developed a strategic messaging platform to address the key benefits of the innovative technology, in line with the objectives and to act as a starting point to the whole campaign: fit for purpose, delivering convenience, always safe, available now, modern/nice-looking and compact.
- A concept rationale was created together with a visual style that carried the message to OEMs. Alternative creative concepts were developed to carry the different benefit messages (as identified above) to show how different creative approaches could be taken and executed, each with a rationale.
